Where Curiosity Leads the Way
Willow Montessori Academy offers authentic, hands-on Montessori education and smaller classroom ratios for children 3 months to 6 years old. Nurturing independent thinkers, confident learners, and kind hearts.
Parents' Commitment
At Willow Montessori Academy, we're committed to building an engaged, informed community of parents who understand the foundations of Montessori philosophy and how we bring an authentic Montessori program to life each day. Our parent education initiatives help families extend Montessori practices beyond the classroom and into everyday parenting. We offer a variety of ways for parents to stay involved and informed, including:
-
The Montessori Journey: an innovative workshop that simulates a real Montessori classroom experience: Collaboration days and classroom observations
-
Volunteer opportunities: Partnership with our families goes beyond education alone. All parents read and sign our Parent Handbook, which outlines our Parent Participation program.
We invite each family to contribute 10 hours a year to our community — through a range of on-campus and off-campus opportunities designed to fit individual schedules and interests. It's one of the ways WMA feels less like a school and more like a second home.
Teachers' Commitment
WMA is home to a dedicated team of teachers, assistants, enrichment staff, and administrators who are passionate about supporting the academic, social, emotional, and physical development of every child in our care. Open communication, teamwork, peer coaching, and ongoing education in child development and Montessori credentialing are core values across our entire staff.
All of our lead classroom teachers are Montessori-credentialed, with the remainder currently in the practicum phase of earning their credential. Every WMA employee completes a minimum of 24 hours of continuing education each year. Willow Montessori Academy has a strong legacy of promoting from within, offering our staff meaningful opportunities for personal and professional growth as they guide children through an authentic Montessori experience. Investing in our people is a top priority — because our school's strength depends on our staff, our program, and the partnerships we build with families.
