Mrs. Barkha I Head of School
Barkha is the owner of Willow Montessori Academy and a passionate educator whose leadership approach is deeply rooted in the global, collaborative, and facilitative nature of the Montessori pedagogy. Her passion for early childhood education began at an early age and grew stronger during her adolescent years.

Barkha has been educating children for over 10 years and has furthered her education to procure a leadership role in early childhood education. She earned her American Montessori Society Certification at Dallas Montessori Teacher Education Program in 2009 and has also worked as a teacher at various childcare centers in Dallas, Austin, and California.
​
As the owner of WMA, Barkha brings her passion, knowledge, and wisdom into the classroom to effectively inspire and guide students, staff, and the community. She believes in following the child and nurturing their curiosity while providing a strong foundation for continued academic success. Under her leadership, WMA provides a warm, vibrant, and educational environment designed to foster a love of learning and help all children reach their fullest potential at their own unique pace.

As the Head of School at Willow Montessori Academy, it is my pleasure to extend a warm welcome to all families considering our school for their child's education. At WMA, we believe in providing a nurturing and supportive environment that empowers children to learn and grow at their own pace.
